I need advice from anyone who had experience with these two laptops, asus m6000n and HP nx7000. Here in my country, asus m6000n and HP nx7000 are pretty much the same price. I am about to choose between these two.
Among the specs, the nx7000 uses ATi 9200 64MB, and the m6000n uses ATi 9600 64MB. Everything else is pretty much the same specs.
But what i really need to know is:
1. The screen. Which one is better between these two? i mean the color, brightness, etc. And, does any of the screen have ghosting effect when playing games/dvd?
2. The battery. Which one can be longer use w/o powercord plugged in? used for office tasks mainly and watching dvd's. I need to ask, because my aspire 2000 lasts only 3 hrs less when claimed over 4 hrs in the manual.
3. The speaker. Which speaker sounds better, and 'warmer'? Which one has a 'fuller' sound, bass and treble? I now have acer Aspire 2000 w/ integrated subwoofer, it's not very good but it produces pretty good bass sound for a laptop.
4. The keyboard. This is very important for me, since i type a lot. Which one has a better feel and ergonomic? My aspire 2000 keyboard is too far to the hinges, so instead the heel of my palm, my forearm too have to stay on the palmrest. This is uncomfortable for me, especially when typing on desk.
5. I need a silent laptop, and does not produce heat too much on normal office tasks. So the quieter and cooler, the better. Which one is better?
6. Does any of these laptops get warm/hot in the palmrest area?
Anyone had hand-to-hand comparison? Please. Any comment will be very appreciated.
