500:1 is the best i have ever seen on an LCD monitor
and 25 ms response, is also very good. the 5670 has a 30 ms response time, and from the reviews i have been reading i know there will be no ghosting.

good find. can i have a price, and a link please?

I built a system for a frien and used an iiyama LCD (18") that had 500:1 and 25ms, and it's VERY nice. Those specs are very good. There are better, but there are MUCH worse (I'd give that an A- at least).

Personally, lcd's can't compete with the good old fashion crt.

unless you plan to stay in the native resolution of your lcd, the lower resolutions don't quite look right.

i am an avid gamer and i have noticed that if your games don't utilize the native resolution of your lcd the picture begins to degrade.

for the price you will pay for a decent lcd you can get a great crt.

While I concur, I do not think that was the point of the original question/topic.
