Made some post a while back saying he was leaving for good.

Ouch... sounds like he was starting to hate the place. You can probably send him an e-mail that he left in his profile on this forum?

Arguments are funny because everyone involved always ends up pretty much looking like an idiot. The Kerry thing was funny though.

I dont understand how most alienware owners can actually defend alienware. I paid $3000+ for my laptop. I must use a 3rd party program just to have my colors show up properly. My DVD playback is basicly unwatchable and the fact that im told to just edit the overlay properties is a ****ty/pathetic fix, if you can even call it that. Now I really havent had a problem with my laptop aside from the LCD...but when I originally called about it I just got the runaround from alienware's wonderful 5 star support. Now with this video upgrade BS going on...I just cant see why ppl can continue to support an obviously shady company. Btw, if you haven figured it out, I am an alienware owner. Flame on.

I just got an Alienware. I had no problems, received it 9 days after they received payment. The sales and finance department personally contacted me to tell me everything had gone smoothly. I had my computer set up in 20 minutes and haven't had a problem yet. I dont know what more I could have asked for. I'm not sure if I was a lucky one or you were incredibly unlucky....

I think you were lucky. Anyway, yeah, I've used both PowerDVD and WinDVD and haven't had problems with either of them. It is kinda annoying when you shell out such a huge chunk of money for a computer and it doesn't work PERFECTLY like it should.
