Thread Starter
For those of you who use a mouse with your laptop, which one do you use?
I was looking into getting a wireless mouse but heard that it interfares with the touchpad software. Any suggestions?

This trusty old mouse has been with me for so long that it's use has outlived my old desktop and is still in use with my current lappy.

I've got a red mx510 and a mx500. If I want to go casual, I sure the red 510. If I want to go formal, I use the grey and black 500.

I'm thinking about getting a Razer Viper/Boomer with my new lappy. supposed to be 1000+dpi, even better than the mx500/510. cant say that i dont like those (or the microsoft intellimouse 4.0 (the new one, i think thats what its called) and their general feel, though.

I've got the Razer Viper and it's a great mouse. It's almost too responsive. I had some control problems while using it on a Ratpadz mouse pad. I bought a $3.00 black mousepad from Office Depot (the old standard cloth surface over rubber kind) and my Viper now performs flawlessly for games and everything else.

Okle - I never get tired a seeing your Deliverance version of banana love!!

Logitech MX Duo Keyboard and Mouse (MX700) - Everything but games
Logitech MX510 corded - games

The cordless seems to be responsive enough for games, but games seem to drain the batteries alot faster?

I bought the MS Intellimouse 4.0 (wired, with the horizontal scrolling feature). I hated it and returned it for an mx510. I couldn't be happier with my decision.

i got the intellimouse 4.0 wiht my laptop, its a great mouse exept for the flippin scroll wheel, its sooo much trouble to swith weapons in first person shooters (doom3 at the moment). i have a mx 700 (whatever the cordless optical is, best logitech one) and absolutaly loved it, didn't want to use it on my laptop cause i figured a cordless mouse on a laptop was overkill, but now that i have this one i wish i had it, only problem is that my desktop is at my house, in thailand, and now am in california going to school, but whatever, ill deal, gives me something to blame when i get my a$$ kicked, hahaha

I love my MX-510 but it's clear from its design it was made only for right-handers. Or at least left-handers would have to make a real adjustment.

I can use a mouse with bothands my mx500 is more promintly right handed but left handers can use it after a few hours of practise

Is the intellimouse 4.0 really that bad? damn...and to think that i almost bought it!
