What a waste of $250+

As some of you know, I sent my laptop back to get repaired. The only two things really wrong with it were that the PCMCIA slot eject button was stuck out, and some of the keys didn't work on the keyboard. I recieved the computer yesterday to find that the only thing that had been fixed was the PCMCIA slot eject button. The keyboard was still broken. And on top of that, they didn't put the blank card back in the PCMCIA slot. Now I have to wait another week and a half for Alienware to ship me a new keyboard. Don't you think for a 3-Year $250+ warranty they should be able to fix what I told them to?

3yr warrenties are always a waste no matter what.

If computer can last 1year without major problems it will last 5years. (i have pc that backs up my theoryies)

Devion, I also thought that, until my CPU overheated in my Area-51m... problems happen...and we hear about a lot of them...but what we don;t hear about is the thousands of ALienware buyers that dont have any problems with their PCs...What i also learned is that you can take the 1 year warranty, and upgrade it within 11 months if you want... that's the way i role now...

Just think, these suckers who get the second year for 200 bucks, that's over a dollar every two days for insurance.
