Problems in chronological order
At 6 months:
1.Intermitted power shutdown:
Returned to Sager and motherboard was replaced.
At 11 months:
1.Unexpected power/shutdown
a.Press on area next to the power button to force a shutdown. This will always force a power- off; this can also be reproduced by firmly pressing any keys in that area.
b.At times this power/shutdown can occur with no user interaction. When this does occur it will take time for the PC to cool down before it will restart.
2.Cracked display case.
a.Small stress fractures on the top of the display panel case
3.Headphone jack malfunctioning and may be loose.
a.When a headphone is plugged in, the sound will cut in and out.
I'll post a relpy when I know more.
Overall, I’m happy with this unit. I did decide to purchase the 2 year extended warranty from PowerNoteboks/Philips Magnavox for 231.00. I’ve added a Canon i80 Printer with Bluetooth module which works great, Maxtor external drive for back ups, MS wireless mouse, and looking at the RCA Lyra RD900W to pump my iTunes to the home stereo.

I don't think I'd be too happy with the problems you are having with the system. I hope you get everthing worked out.
