My 2nd 9100 arrived a couple of weeks ago with the wrong CD drive. It was listed as an 8X DVD+RW but I got a DVD/CD re-writer instead. I called India who said I needed to call Tech which I did. They said that they were busy and would call me back so I called them back an hour later and then convinced someone to help me. They had trouble finding details of my order but then did and agreed that it was incorrect.
Then I was put back to India who also couldn't find my order and wanted me to email or fax them a copy of my invoice. I said I wouldn't do that and that they should be able to see that it was an 8X DVD+RW on their system.
2 days ago I got my new drive. Its a 4x. Am I surprised? Of course not and I really can't be bothered to go through all that again. I emailed my contact but she hasn't got back to me.
Any suggestions? I'm in the UK BTW.
