Just thought I'd say hello. I've found a lot of great info at this forum. I found all I needed to know by searching old posts, and went ahead and made an order for a Dell. I'm sure I'll have some questions in the near future.

Just got the tracking # for my 8600.....it'll be here Monday. Wooohooo. Specs are in my sig.

Im also new here, and I'm really glad that this forum exists. It made me choose the 8600...currently waiting for it to show up aswell.

Will use this 'puter in school and for some gaming.

Radeon 9600 PRO 128

I too have just brought the same spec'd machine! I notice the Euro Dell Tracking order site is not working properly! Damn! Mine is due to ship on 20th August! Can't wait!

maybe we should have a forum section for those of us who've ordered dell notebooks and are killing time while we wait for them to ship.

feels like every day waiting for my order to pass the production stage is 48hrs long. yeah. we need some kind of emotional support group/forum section

If you're checking out the spoof thread then after a while you'll notice:
a) You don't have time for checkers; and
b) You'll have lost the mental capacity to play checkers anyway.
