Lg Lm40

Just got a new lg lm40.
It's the base model but it's still really nice.
Here are the specs:
-centrino 1.5 ghz
-14.1" xga tft
-ati mobility radeon 9200, 32mb
-512mb ddr memory
-40gb hd
-cdrw/dvd combo
-802.11BG wirelss
-xp pro

I couldn't be more happy with it. It's 25.4mm thick and and really light. It's listed 2.2kg or 4.9lb which they atribute to the carbon fibre and magnesium casing. The battery life is excellent, lg claims 6hours, but i manage to get about 4 hours out of it with fairly heavy use. It's supposed to have really good wireless reception because of the "quad band antenna" but I haven't tested that out yet. Other than that, it looks pretty sharp and seems to be well made. The screen is really good and has a brightness of 200nit where most notebook computers have a brightness of 150nit. It also has a fairly wide viewing angle. It comes standard with a 3 year international warrenty and is a very well equipt laptop for the size and price. I would definately recoment it.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, they are from my webcam. You can see some high res pics here http://www.euclid.ru/manuals/notebooks/LM4021AR.htm but this is the russian model which is almost the same except the lg logo on the back of the screen is different
