separate "administrator" account appears only in safe mode

when booting up in safe mode two accounts are shown at my login screen, my normal login and administrator login. when under normal bootup my user is the only option, administrator is not given as an option. wutup with this?

That is normal for WinXP. Here is a link to the WinXP power toys TweakUI that has an option under Logon to include the "Administrator".

In the normal login try pressing ctrl alt del twice

It is kinda a safety masure and that account is something you dont really need unless problem arises, thats why they considered it not important to show under normal conditions.

Actually, if you go into USER ACCOUNTS in the Control Panel, and select How Users Log On (or something like that) you can change all this.

If you click on the Administrator Account this is the message

"The administrator account is only visible on the Welcome screen when no other user accounts exist (except the guest account), or when you start the computer in Safe Mode"

I was thinking the Admistrator would show up when I first installed pre SP1 but I'm not going to test that. I've been using TweakUI for so long I can't remember.
