To say Microsoft is the DEVIL, you can try OOo (OpenOffice.org) very excellent program and its freeware so you don't have to deal with the licence bullsh*t.

microsoft has the new program OneNote, which has some pretty cool features that you could take some great notes with, but it's really pretty unnecessary.

U know what'd be awesome? writing on the touchpad with a stylus. 'course it's small, but it would be neat.

onenote rocks...I used it all last year. Makes studying so much easier too...if you can't remember something, just search for it.

So I installed OneNote and tried it out for like three minutes... and I get the impression that it works best with a tablet PC. brinksw, is that correct? Or are you using it with your laptop? Care to share how it is exactly you use it?

Thanks!

I vote for this as well.

Maybe I'm just behind the times, but I really don't see myself taking notes on a computer. I'd feel like sort of a geek. I probably just offended all of you people who do...

I'm thinking of getting the Logitech IO pen, it would act almost like a tablet pc, so you might want to research that.

keitaro, I got OneNote for free. My school (UW) has an alliance program with Microsoft so it's free for me.
