35/M/Virginia Beach, VA... though I've lived in the Chicagoland 'burbs, Portland, Ore., and Providence, RI. Currently an independant senior software engineer working with a number of clients, in Delphi and C# / .NET.

Been writing code and gaming since 1983. First multiplayer game I can remember was on an Apple IIc, an olympics-style game, loaded via radio shack tape player, where my friend and I typed different keys to "run" in different events (and I remember him yelling at me for typing too hard on his keyboard )

Had a great multiplayer experience a few years ago, similar to what is happening in this thread. Game play slowed down in Team Fortress and we all started to chat. When we asked where everyone was from, we had representation from ALL continents at the same time. Very cool

I am a support analyst with a biotech company called Amgen, I also run a website, and do freelance work setting up and maintaining small business networks.

I have worked in the greater computer biz for for 12 years now, I was an Network Engineer for years at a few wireless companies. I also love my 600M, which will be upgraded soon to something along the lines of the i8600.

Jumpman, Forbidden Forest, Fort Apocalypse, Ultima 3, Little Computer People, James Bond 007, Infocom Games, Nibbler, IsePIC, Quantum-Link (Online Service for C-64 users, later changed name to AOL), CompuServe shell account, 300 baud modems, Wargames (the movie), when Phone Phreaking was super easy (and I was a minor, so did not care about getting caught), Davey Jones Locker BBS (on the east coast for all the C-64 warez), Beach Head, Raid over Moscow...

I could go on and on... those sure were the days...
