2800+ vs 2.8 intel?

i was wondering if the 2800+ was really comparable with the 2.8 intel chip. please, let me know!

which 2800+ do you speak of, A64 or AXP? the former can definitely compete with the 2.8p4, and probably even beat it, but the latter might have some difficulty keeping up. just my $.02, though, as an A64 fanboi but an Intel customer.

a 2.2 ghz 3400 can best a 3.4 p4

Agreed I want to get on eof those so bad but not untill i can get it with PCI-E so who knows how long that will be.
