This part makes no sense:

Quote:
Airlines in the US have already indicated that they will completely support and promote the dDrive, even offering expedited checkins and discounted tickets to individuals using the dDrive.
so it's like "wow, you are a huge dork and have a hard drive in your fake teeth, and for that you get expidited check in and discount tickets, because as an airline, we er, really care about the future of personal bio-hard drives..."

Imagine being able to say that I have my teeth in a full RAID array...

So what happens when 1gig teeth come out? And then 2gig? And what if your tooth crashes? Are you going to have to go to the dentist constantly for upgrades and tech support?

And what if your teeth start interfering w/ your WiFi signal...

, actually it would be pretty stupid to walk around with something like that that holds your identity. Plus if they do decide to do that, they should make it so the thing fries itself if it's removed, that would be the smart thing to do, don't ya think?

Who would actually give up one of their teeth for this? Not me.

I'd hate to be the anthropologist who digs THAT guy up.

I got a tooth pulled and have a gap in the back if i could get one of these before it closes up i would be set , could u imagine how cool that would be. u could store ur school work and other stuff on it.
But what would be really cool would be blue tooth devices with large storage capacity around 1GB that would fit on a small chip that would be implanted under ur skin now that would be kick ass and i would get one of those

I wonder if this thing will flash red once you reach age 30 or decides to run...
i don't think you guys see what my concern is...
if u store anything on it... people would want to take it... be it sentitive info, or other stuff like school work... kids at ur school that doesn't want to do work can just punch u out or hack the security on it

plus, a person can steal/rob ur bag, wallet, etc w/o hurting u... but they most likely will do so trying to take that bt tooth out

edit: ahh yes... self-destruction upon removal... that's even worse... then they would cut out a piece of yo mouth to take that sh..t w/o making it self-destruct...
OR... u forgot u had a bt tooth implant and you decide to bite on something hard ie. crab/lobster shell... out comes the tooth and u lost ur data... (blah blah... backups... yaya... like everyone does it)

MMmmm, yes, a radio device in your teeth, using your skull as an antenna, I like it... mainly because my cell phone isnt giving me the brain cancer fast enough.

Color me paranoid, haha... but seriously, I dont need a nintendo in my mouth. I would much rather carry a flash chip in my wallet. Not that I do...

I love the rapid airline checkin idea. I can see it now, a big line of people held up by a guy pressing his face against some scanner because his tooth is low on power, lol...

For the government paranoid- this also seems a bit spooky as well. Too much in the way of tracking. Didnt we learn anything from Minority Report???

so its late here and I am tired... sue me.

(Good one, btw!)

I'd rather have a small pellet implanted in my love handle. That would be cool especially when the supermarkets finally get those scanners that can scan your full cart instantly. Just think, all you'd have to do is put in your pin as you walk through the isle and the scanner would find your total and deduct the amount from your account with the pellet's info.

By the way, we all agree that this thing is a joke right? I mean, it's a tooth, it's blue... Just wanted to be sure we are all on the same page.
