High Pitch Noise

Hi Guys,

I recently received my new 8600 which I have to say is fantastic so far. But one thing I have noticed and seems to bother me a lot is this high pitch noise that keeps comming outa the system. I am not quite sure what it is and it is getting kind of bothersome since I have sensitive hearing. If I could get some suggestions and comments on how to deal with it, I'd be most grateful.

Update: It seems like the sound is originating from the top left area of the laptop where the cpu and fan is? but it doesn't sound like a fan would produce that sort of high pitch. And I guess that leaves the cpu making the noise? Anyhoo lemme know if there is anything I can do.

thanks, the usb root fix seemed to do the trick.
