Hi all, just wanted to post some initial thoughts on my New Sager
5670 Laptop.
First off this isn't going to be a big, thorough review...I feel thats all ready been done by people with more tech experiance than I.
But I just want to give my feelings on the diffarances between this notebook and my old desktop:
desk: AMD Athlon 1800xp
Lap: Intel P4 2.66
Okay, It BLOWS away the desktop!
desk: Nvidia 64 meg video
Lap: Ati Radeon 128 meg
Okay, It BLOWS away the desktop!
Memory structure about the same, but boy this is amazing to be able to do everything that I did on the desktop right here ( wherever here might be.) The 15" uxga screen is SO GOOD that I don't miss my old 21" Hitachi Superscan Monitor.
I was worried that the 40 gig 5400 rpm hdd would hinder op's however to my eye I cannot see any diffarance in speed. I am a HARDCORE gamer and I am amazed at the video quality I am getting with the drivers from enclosed CD. Taking gsferraris advice and leaving things alone for a while to get a feel for the laptop. I also have a 60 gig desktop hdd encloser I'm gonna use for file downloads. Just some initial thoughts.
If anyone would tell me how to upload pics I will enclose in next posting.

Anyway...

Email the pictures to Adam and request him to post it in the Sager Member's Rides Gallery (its not called members rides but that will pass)...

Ask him if you can add descriptions to the pictures as well after he posts them...
