Hey guys. I'm in the market for a decent (albeit inexpensive) camcorder. One of the key features that I need for this camcorder is (1) the ability to transfer video directly from it to my laptop and (2) the ability to have the camcorder act as a pass-through to feed in video from a VCR or some other source into my laptop.

Does anyone have such a camcorder? Did you have problems connecting the camcorder to an 8600?
