Fast laptop with 12" screen?

Thread Starter
Still havnt decided which laptop to get.. I had aaaaalmost decided to get a massive desktop replacement dell 9100 for the performance. However, I upgraded my desktop comp, so now I've done a 180 and am looking for the smallest laptops instead. So Im trying to find a laptop with a 12" screen which is still fast enough to run some older games (such as counterstrike and maybe warcraft3). One option seems to be the sony vaio 505, with the ati 9200 card. Though its pretty expensive here in sweden (almost $3000).. any other "ultra portable" laptops with decent performance?

Thx for any ideas!

the 505 looks dam sexy... but IMO ... where its sexy as hell.. its lacks in performance.. ..or so what ive learned in this forum =)... i know that u cant really do many upgrades on it cuz its so thin..

actually... u might want to look at the viao s170... with about $200 - $400 dollars less.. u can get a great system.. with a radeon 9700 (64m)... its 13.3 wide screen.. better CPU.. and its upgradeable.. or at least its easier to upgrade than the 505...

theres a really long theard here about the s170,, and if u go to sonystyle.com ... u can check it out yerself...

heres the specs off of sonystyle.com on the s170.. and the different stuff u can get with it.....

Actually the VAIO S series is even more expensive here :/ (About $3800+shipping) Was hoping there were other brands using ATI graphics cards in their 12" screen computers. (But havnt found any)
