8600 owners - mouse and keyboard "sticking" when in FPS

okay, i've had my 8600 for about 2 months and have not had one qualm with it except for this puppy...

when in FPS games, the mouse and keyboard "stick" and stop responding, and the game doesn't respond to mouse movements or keyboard commands.

i'll show you what i mean. download this: http://www.blu3visi0n.net/wtf.avi

during the entire clip, i was constantly moving around and using the mouse to look around... but at the end of the clip, it shows me moving along the edge of a wall. during this time, i'm moving my mouse, but the view never changes...

yeah, just download the clip and you'll see what i mean. (i hope )

i've tried changing rendering mode from opengl to direct3d, and changing ingame resolutions, without any luck. this problem is recurrent in the following games: any HL engine game, CS off steam, and UT2K4. However, i've never seen it happen in halo, far cry, or quake.
has anyone experienced this problem?

OMFG i thought I was going crazy. None of my friends notice it when they play on my laptop but it is a constant pain in the ass for me.
It happens on a ny HL based game, UT2k4, UT2k3, and Halo to some extent, but FarCry runs without issue.

I HAVE noticed that the videocard and the USB system(s) are running off of the same IRQ address, maybe that has something to do with it?

My system beeps when I'm strafing a bunch and mouselooking. Hahahah, it's still playable though.

I have the same problem, but it is fairly infrequent. Sometimes happens when just in Windows too (webs surfing, email, etc).

No one knows how to fix this?

I think this was covered in a previous post awhile ago. If you have the touchpad driver installed (alps driver), uninstall it and see if it still happens.
