Hypersonic order

Hey all. Well today is my ship date and it has passed and my laptop is still sitting at hypersonics store. Why??? Because they are taking pictures of it, they want to use it on their website..SWEEEEET. So it should ship tomarrow and by Thursday I should be able to give you all a full review of the lappy and the order process which so far has gone just fine. (Keeps his fingers crossed).

they make so many of those machines and they must delay your shipping by 24 hours because you have THE ONE for pictures? Geez. Anyway...looking at your sig...thats a good system.

Looking forward to see what the paint job looks like. I am not sure how many individuals order the Sunset Orange, so I guess it was their opportunity to get the pictures. Your laptop has made the big time.

THEY ARE TEASING ME!!!! LOL check out http://secure.hypersonic-pc.com/scri...id=Aviator_GX7 and click on the custom text link and you will have seen as much of my lappy as I have. It's now famous tho . Checking the order status at 20 second intervals.

Question Hypersonic upgraded me to over night shipping because of the delay (not caused by takeing the pics), I had already paid for next day air. Are the two the same?

It may be because the orange is not a popular color. Whatever the case, I want my next lappy to be red or orange.

The pictures where taken because of the custom text. Also I found out that it was not delayed by the pics they were taken in house with a digital cam.

looks like you were the first to order custom text on the orange. no pics yet for the mouse/keyboard/speakers.

wow, $129, do they paint the text in?

Yes. it is painted under the clearcoat.

Update: Called HS and talk to Micheal who btw is a great rep, and he told me that during final testing they noticed that one of the speakers was crackling so they are replacing it and it should still ship today but it's 4:30pm CST and I still don't have a tracking number...

(Does the laptop needs to be shipped today dance)

What custom text did you get? Looking at the photo and zooming in, I only see the AVIATOR GX7 text on it, which looks like mine, or is it a different font (could not do a clear zoom in).

Just wondering.

I never saw that image. Cool. When I went to the site, I looked at the link above and the photo gallery and never saw it.

Hmmmm. I need to send mine back to get it custom done.

I thought that orange was one of the more popular colors for painted laptops, but I could understand they would wwant to delay shipping to fix some last minute stuff.

WOO HOO!!!, I am assuming that they fixed the speaker becuase i got a tracking number E-mailed to me from Hypersonic. Though when I track it is tells me that that is not a valid number. Called Hypersonic and they said that it take UPS 24 hours to get the tracking info in their site......well I paid for next day air LOL. So at any rate it should be waiting for me at my neighbors house (I will be at work when it is delivered) when I get home from work tomarrow. Gotta figure out how I am gonna sleep tonight

Today is the day. UPS updated the tracking info and overnight my lappy made it from NY to Chicago which is 40 mins drive from me. So as long as the UPS dude reads to the note on my door to have the neighbor sign for it and take responsibility for it and the neighbor shuffles her old ass to the door before the UPS dude gets bored of waiting and decides no-one is home, my lappy will be waiting for pickup from my neighbor when i get off work. Will be watching UPS tracking all day for the comfirmed delivery notice.
