will not wake out of Hibernate

xp pro sp1 fresh off sager cd

I put my baby in to Hibernation and then press the power to wake. Looks good and fine until after the last bar fills on the "unhaibernate ?" screen and then screen just stays black.


any thoughts

I'm having the same problem with standby mode. I hit Fn-F4 and it goes to standby. I hit the power button to bring it back out and the screen comes on and stays black. I let it sit 10 minutes just to see if it wasn't really slow and nothing changed. I haven't tried hibernate.

The standby is a pain because I've hit Fn-F4 a couple of times when I meant to hit Fn-F5 to turn down the volume. I've had my 8790 for 4 weeks and I'm otherwise very pleased.
