HP nc6000/8000 keypress problem

Does this problem limit you to only two simultaneous keypresses on the kb only? Example: can you input 4 commands using 2 keys and 2 mouse buttons (run, strafe l or r, jump, and fire) on the nc6000/8000s.

Also what's the max settings that you guys can run UT2K4 or similar games on laptops with an MR9600 64mb. I've read the HPs GPUs are underclocked so I have no idea performance wise. I'm planning on getting one or the other mainly for school and work, but I do like to play UT2K4 to kill time.
