My card reader won't read on 4750

I tried putting in a memory stick from a Sony Cybershot camera, and it won't read the card. I tried reinstalling the drivers with no luck, anyone have any suggestions?

Please check the designator (type) of memory used by the Sony Cybershot camera and then review the capabilities of the 7-in-1 reader on the 4750 to determine if that type of memory is supported.

Sager says its a "4-in-1 Card Reader", not "7-in-1". Clevo calls it a "3-in-1", they also say it supports Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro. I'd account for the difference in the Sager and the Clevo claim for the fact that Clevo was counting Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro as one, and Sager counts them separately. I don't know where Omaha got 7-in-1 from.

Anyway, it should obviously be supported, so that isn't the problem.

OK, typed that in wrong. 3/4-in-one reader.

My point is that different models of the Sony Cybershot camers used different memory.

For example the Sony DSC-F828 (a popular model) could use several different media types (Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Compact Flash Type I/II, Microdrive). If he is using Compact flash (CF), that media is not is supported by the 4750's reader - Also Smart Media (SM) is not supported..

YUP! Upside down is the how this thing works. Along with the USB ports. Too bad it doesn't support xD cards.
I bought an Epson RX600 which supports all cards so my problem is solved somewhat. Hmmm...I should write a review of this printer.

Yes you should. I have found that printers have generally been a hassle to work with.
