Can someone tell me how to force the processor to stay at full speed when on ac power? I can't find that setting but have heard it is possible. I'm running processor benchmarks and they don't look so hot yet.
Also, the system info shows the processor speed at 1.58 when it is maxed out and it is an a64 3000+ (supposed to run at 1.8ghz, not 1.6). It is an hp zv5000z. Could they have sent me the wrong processor? It does say Athlon 64 3000+ in the system info and has an AMD64 sticker on the notebook. But that 1.58ghz on the system properties worries me, it shows 798 when idle.
