How Do I Know What RAM Will Work With My Laptop???

I have a cl56. I was told newegg.com has the lowest prices but then when I went to search it asked me all kinds of things like What speed? Then it gives me choices from like Pc133 (133mhz), ect, ect, all the way up to pc2 5400 (ddr2 675). Huh? Then it asks for the type like 168 pin SDram dimm, 184 pin drr dimm, 184pin rdram rimm (16 bits), 240 pin ddr2 dimm. Huh? It's all greek to me. Then it asks if I want EEC or Registered, or Unbuffered. Again, huh? Me no speaky this language. I just want 1 gig stick that will fit and work in my notebook. I suppose I could by it from where I got my notebook but it's like three times as much as newegg's prices. If I could just figure out which one will work. Help? Please? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

from what i got in other forums the cl25 uses ddr pc2700 ram. 200 pins i think make sure it says sodimm otherwise you are probably buying desktop ram. those are all pin counts of a desktop.
