I recently purchased an Acer 1012WMli when the price was down around $1300, but I'd like to some upgrades on it (hdd, put in a dothan, etc.). I also want to put in an internal bluetooth card, if possible, much like the Acer 2025 has.
My thought is this: If the 2025 has the internal card (its also part of the modem) and the 2025 is similar to the 2012 (same chipset, case, etc, similar mainboard) would it be possible to get the internal card for the 2025 and get it to work in a 2012?
Also, does anyone know if the NIC in the Acers are cards or are they integrated (aka can I get a gigabit card off a 2025 and stick it in my 2012)?
I know someone on this forum found the partnumbers for the bluetooth card in an Acer 1700 series, does anyone know them for the 2012 or 2050?
If anyone has any ideas / Acer part numbers, let me know.
