Ok So I wanted to add some things to my previous post. Now id like to say that when overclocking you should take extreme consideration that you may potentially kill your laptop and if your going to overclock you should always follow the rule of thumb and never try exceeding safe temps like 5% or 10% above normal clocks... however Im clinically insane so im aiming for the stars here cause I didnt give up my 8600 to be safe
you'll note my system specs in my sig. Im using the A03 Inspiron 9100 bios, Service Pack2, and the Dell Released ATI 4.8 Cat drivers clocking was done using Powerstrip so your results WILL vary. As for my max limit I only could go that far because powerstrip limits me as far as memory clock setting goes.
