Hey all, I got that black screen cleared up, NOW this fuggin wireless internet card won't give me more than 54mbps from my linksys with turbo...??? What the fug? This thing is drivin me nuts. They also sent me a little chip, hope like hell it's not the bluetooth I ordered installed, but nonetheless I'll have to find out cause they didn't say **** about it in the packaging. Frustated big time here. Has anyone else had these probs with their wireless??

you need to go into your router (probably 192.168.0.1) in your browser and configure your wireless settings for 108mbps. mine works perfectly, I'm getting an "excellent" signal 40 feet away through 3 or 4 walls and can dl at around 250kbps 350 max I'm using the netgear router btw

I've done that already bro, I just a week ago installed a wireless card on my daughters old compac 2100 and it worked beautifully. How are you configured for wireless...? Please give specifics...I'll need it..I've been in and out of network settings so often I'm sure I've got everything totally fugged. I've been at it for two days now and getting drove behind it...something this simple shouldn't be such a friggin pain in da ass.

also, I can't get my realtek to work, says cable unplugged. Have uninstalled reinstalled a few times....please help ... this is really drivin me nutz!

I don't think I did anything special. I think I changed the signal to b/g, but I'm on a netgear 108mbps Turbo router. I've gotten it to work on my roomy's linksys turbo without even having to go into the router settings tho

All mbmeres msut now tlak leik tihs, or use a cmobnioatin of tihs and 1337 sp33k (i.e. tl4kN1g lK13 t1Hs b r43LLy hr4d 2 udnr3S4tnD) Aslo, maayamn is now Vcie Perisdnet!

I don't actually have a 4750 so I don't have to post like that :P
Besides, I think your the only Ogre on here that owns one..go out..convert more Ogres to your cause!
I'm already sold on AMD64 if it was in a 8790 body and if PCIE wasn't around the corner i'd get it heh
God I remember when front side bus was like a speedy 66 :P

Just letting everyone in the club know, that my lappy is back and GREAT, no dead pixels this time, and i just got done doing the as5 thing. I may have to re-do it though, as i think i may have put it on to thick, Its still idleing at 45*c, but after 3dmark03 it was only 65, so idk.

yeah it only takes a very small amount about the size of a grain of rice, look at mayaman's thread about it. mine never gets above 60C now
