CL56 vs 3790--> and the winner is... - Page 3

yeah 3790 def wins with the 12-cell

the problem is that some people don't like the 12-cell, and thats where the debate begins... it should be "3790 (with 6cell) vs. cl56"

yes, drawmonster, if you're happy with your notebook, "who gives a rats A** what anyone else thinks?" (even if I wouldn't put it the way that other guy put ).

Personally, I just don't understand why some people like to call drawmonter "bias" based only on personal opinions. I just don't like the 12-cell battery, and maybe 15.4" is bigger than what I'm looking for, but this can be little things to him.

Drawmonster: continue to post your thoughts about those notebooks.

I don't really care what anyone gets, I'm just letting everyone know what my opinion is on the two notebooks. Plus, I'm providing pics and reviews to help people decide.
Exactly...I look forward to hearing reading peoples reviews..if they are positive or negative I won't to read that too and know why one thinks that.. but to be called bias is utterly stupid..you have both.. and you gave your reasons why.. maybe someone else doesn't agree..thats fine too but cease with all the comments for someones elses review and or thoughts.. Reviews are something one takes time out to do for everyone else and should be treated as such..

I assume the SONY S is XBrite only?
And I don't think I could do the Uniwill keyboard.

I don't really know what to get, it's a tough choice.

The 3790 has a great screen and performance, but I don't really find the battery a problem. I really doubt I'll look at my laptop from the side that much... hey, the battery might deter thieves from taking it from my dorm .

The CL56, only problem I'm having is the screen. The colors are weird, light wise. But, if I buy it, it will most likely be cheaper than the 3790.

It's a tough choice

well if the things you mention didn't bother (battery and stuff) you then the 3790 seems like the comp for you. It's actually not that more expensive, a 1460 (somewhere around ther) cl56 1.7ghz, no os, 512 ram, 40 gig 5400 rpm, 2 year warranty is close to the 3790. The 3790 is like 100 dollars 1560 equipped with 1.7, no os, 512 ram, 60 gig 5400 rpm, 1 year warranty, but also slightly better performance and better screen. So for the extra money u get some better stuff.

DiscountLaptops, specs are in my sig, no os of course. 1 year warranty although I might add more later. I also got a sweet deal where they took care of shipping costs.

The 1560, is it the exact config as you have it? If so, how did you do it? I can't configured it to 1560...

So... what you're waiting for?

Everyone tells that beauty is not important, and tells me that what is important is the beaty inside us. I disagree. Totally. I mean, how can you find the "beauty inside" the other person if you don't know anything about him/her? Obviously, the first impression is the beauty. Then, when you choose the right person (by the beauty), you try to find "the beauty inside". So... beauty is important.

Don't you think, guys? So, don't she need to post a picture? Yeeees.

just go here http://www.discountlaptops.com/index...&model_id=1006 and change the harddrive to 60 gigs. then the price, cash price should be 1560. but of course it's with a 6 cell.
