What I would like to know is if the M10 coming out for the Sagers is going to be the Pro or Non-Pro version?

At this point, any news or info on what company this might be would be a big help...also, why hasn't any other company announced their m10 laptop? Hopefully the next couple of days will bring some new announcements from other companies, maybe even Sager?

you know, i was pondering the whole timeframe thing during school today (i got nothing better to do!). first of all...is the M10/800 FSB even three weeks out? i didnt know either had even been announced. regardless...if you were looking at something like this from a manufacturing/testing standpoint...how would you do it.

i think id want my people working on it 24/7 testing things out, etc. time is money esp. in a market as time-critical as pc technology. what is the standard procedure? anyone know? do they really have techs at the ODM/resellers working 24/7 getting these things ready? hehe kinda like an arms race.

1. Regarding the availibility of the M10 on a sager:

As for upgrades, I've gone over it MANY times in the forums and news section.

2. Sager doesn't usually make pre-announcments until it's actually available on not just pre-order. Dell is tight-lipped on their M10 prospects (info posted by dell moderator on dell boards). Before the M9 first came out there were announcements and preorders made by most vendors: dell, toshiba, AW (even had ads months before) If I'm not mistaken sager owners got theirs before most of them. When they announced availibility it started shipping the following week I believe. Also, the following is taken directly from ATI's website:

"Launch partners include Actebis, Alienware, Asus, Clevo, ECS, FIC, Fujitsu-Siemens, Gericom, HP, Medion, Media Markt, Mitac, NEC, Uniwill, and Voodoo PC."

4. Late July is STILL the earliest date for the sagers. It has been stated here at least once a week for the past 2 months. You will know if that has changed.

Van answered well.

We try and put anything that is confirmed in the news section so there's hardly anything else to say even though we get 20 calls and 50 emails a day asking for more info than what we put here.

I'll say my fingers are crossed that the Sager release will be the M10 PRO and will be out by the end of next month in the 8888 series (next month meaning July). That's not saying anything though, that's me hoping but having confidence in Sager and Clevo that they will produce what all of us extreme freaks are wanting.

As we get info, we will post it in the news section. Seeing things on other websites is more than likely them releasing things in anticipation to draw interest.

You may see the M10 advertised everywhere in different laptops, but don't pay attention to the day it shows up for sale, pay attention to the day customers actually start receiving their orders. Also pay attention to whether or not it's the pro version or not.

We've got a crazy summer of releases coming we'll inform everyone as best we can starting with the 17" wide screen M9 laptop being releases we hope with a couple weeks.
