Im interested in the 4060-V because it's the smallest of the bunch and doesn't have TO many options (ones that i will not fully get use out of).

Im stuck on weather or not i should keep the stock 2.8ghz or go for broke and get the 3.06Ghz.

with the 3.06Ghz, i realize i can do hpyerthreading... as a workstation computer that will take on a little bit of everything (music, movie, 3D animation development/rendering, gnome desktop, internet (gaming), do you think it's worth the additional $150?

Keep in mind I will be using GNU/Linux on this machine.

What are your opinions? i have one day to gather my final thoughts and as much input as I can

thanks.

Yea I buy mine tommorow too, 8887-V. I'd go for the 3.06Ghz I mean 150 is not much when your already buying an expensive rig and HT would help with CAD and everything else you might do.
