lol i think this is sw glitch somewhere,

my ferrari is having similar problem
when i unplug AC using battery, even if it is on laptop powerscheme it would still be running at full 1.83ghz but the problem is gone when i plug the ac
i previously have this problem, and then format and reinstall
the problem went away but after a while it is bak now
so i am just trying to live with it for now

Looking through the Uniwill forums, looks like some users fixed it by reinstalling Windows and using only valid drivers from Cd or website (particularly the AMD powernow driver).

Try not to install all that other speedstep/temp monitor, who knows if it's conflicting and can you be sure it's giving you reliable readouts? Install CPU ID and give us a screenshot of the output. Then play your game on AC plugged in and see how it performs.

I had the same problem. It is a simple fix.

Just download AMD ClockUtility 1.1. Set the minimum multiplier to 11x. Then keep ClockUtility running in your taskbar for as long as you want the full 2.2GHz.
