I'm looking for an ultra portable to replace my heavy Compaq X1000 notebook. Has anyone done (or seen) a good comparison between the Fujitsu S6 and Alienware Sentia 12?
I'll be maxing out whichever I end up getting. 7200 PPM HDD (both) 1+GB RAM (both), 1.7 GHZ CPUv(Fujitsu) or 2.0 GHZ CPU (Alien).
Both seem solid, light, and plenty powerful. I'm leaning toward the Fujitsu due to:
-DVD RW super drive
-Smart bay w/ second battery and superior battery life this provides
-CV XGA screen which is viewable outdoors (same as Alienware?)
Alienware Pros:
-Looks and geek cache of Alienware
-Great cust service, packaging, personalized manuals, etc.
-2.0 GHZ CPU option
Any comments or suggestions from those who has seen/reviewed both of these systems would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Brett
