the point is you're deliberately misleading people. it's not good for the forums, stop doing it.
ok guys the reason this is going nowhere is because snorre just refuses to admit that he's wrong on many of his points. if you take a look at his replies, he just tries to turn the topic around everytime you point them out to him:

I don't like XGA resolutions at all, and especially not the widescreen type. A 15" widescreen LCD is utter crap compared to my 32" widescreen TV anyways.
i umm just bought a cl56 with its sxga+ screen, but that doesn't mean you see me shamelessly plugging that its 15'' screen is better than a 15.4'' wsxga+. that's ridiculous. widescreen LCDs look better in every aspect, you get true-black and much better vertical viewing angles. snorre probably knows it, he just doesn't want to admit it because he can't dry hump his acer and think clearly at the same time. that's why he brought up his umm... 32'' widescreen TV? right. good job there acer salesman.
geez, this is even more ridiculous:

From what I hear Doom3 is unplayable on most Pentium M notebooks, while it runs great on mine at medium quality settings
apparently, you have very selective hearing

get a clue, man. there's few downsides to the new P-M dothans, and in most cases they are equal to if not superior to the a64 LV chips. this is clear from your own quoted gamepc review. i would point them out, but i just remembered that rincewind and i did just that a few months ago--> you refused to see anything beyond the red cover of your ferrari then, and i doubt it would be any different now.
yeah okay so, i love a good debate when both sides are being objective about things, but it's pretty clear that snorre = idiot with eyes closed and ears shut. hopefully he won't embarass himself anymore by giving any more "advice" round here, but i doubt we'll be so lucky.
add him to your ignore list and be done with it. tell everyone in sight, i'd hate to have someone who didn't know the latest and greatest about the P-M (like the initial poster of this thread for example!!!) be led astray to something with a crappy battery life.
