Games on Sentia?

Hey I just ordered my new Sentia 12.1 recently. The question I have is this...
I know that Doom 3 won't work on the new Sentia, however if I want to pick up a game or two what will work? I'm not a big gamer, but if there's somethign cool out there that will play well on my new computer let me know. I've never really been into games and that's not what this Sentia is for, however if I wanted to get one, what will work given the specs on my new Sentia? Thanks for any input you might have.....

It should be able to run any and all DX8 games but you'll experience problems in DX9 games like Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 if they load.

I've been playing Unreal Tournament 2004 really nicely

Wont doom 3 work fine at the low settings?

Doom 3 min specs:
384MB Ram
Intel 1.5GHz Pentium 4 or an AMD Athlon XP 1800+

I don't know about the video card anymore, but like ASFx said, you should do very fine on low settings. And even then it will still look great.

I'd be shocked to see that game running on integrated graphics.

Maybe your right...but still, on the lowest settings it should be playable (with decent integrated graphics off course).

Is it safe to say that all the games listed in this link will play well on the new Sentia?

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War runs pretty well; also I've run Morrowind.....I've installed Doom 3 but haven't had a chance to try and run it.

yes, its safe to say that, i've tested maybe 1/4 of that list.... some of the MMORPGs are also supported, namely Star Wars Galaxies with Hardware T&L requirements, alienware must have an emulator or somthin built in.

There's some discussion in the Dell forums on the 700m which is the same ODM as the Sentia v.2.

*correction - I am finding other discussions that will suggest that 700m and Sentia do not come from the same ODM.

It runs on the Sentia at the low settings. The more memory the better the game play. Some also will report that game play is choppy in some parts.
