Long story short, don't feed the trolls people.

You guys, Turtle is totally right. He is messin' with us. I recently knew a guy who used to do this, only with feminist chatrooms and forums. He got a real kick out of it.

Besides, "Sagersucks" posted it twice so that as many people could see it as possible.

Besides, c'mon folks, Emachines? It's a joke.

Damn them trolls...

I bought an Hitachi 386 mmx processor a little over 5 years ago and its collecting dust now. I bet software released 10 years from now won't even run on my Sager.

I recently bought an Emachine for one of my clients for around $880 that runs circles around my $2,700 Sager. The 8887 is a desktop replacement so why does it run like an old slow laptop?

I have formatted and started over several times and still slow with lockups. I have tried all of the tips and tricks everyone talks about with no luck. I called Sager and it will take 4 to 6 weeks for any repairs that need to be done. What a joke, even Emachine had about a 5 day turn around

I have been buying and selling computers for over 10 years now and I would have to say I am very glad I never sold anyone a Sager!!! Anyone on the forum need an extra fully loaded 8887.

Thanks for allowing me to vent.
It's nice to hear someone that is able to wait 18 months with an inadequate machine before a complaint is uttered. This is very unusual indeed.

I suspect some of you probelms may be centered on the reinstallation of the operating system. Specifically the use/non use of HT requires some install decisions, that if made incorrectly tend to make the unit almost worthless.

Your comments (other than "trolling" or "trashing") do not provide sufficiant information for anyone to provide you assistance.

You really need to provide: O/S used, Is HT enabled, When did this condition start, have you "recycled the battery" as instructed in the user manual, do you have Anti Virus/Anti Spyware installed, which service packs/updates are installed on the machine, what processes are runing at at what percentage on the macine? And then lastly, what is the configuration of the machine (all those little extras)?

Remember, it doesn't take a "pro" to configure or pollute a machine so that it fails to function at a decent level.
