Well it took me all day, but I got it running the way I like it. It ran great out of the box, but I have to put all my stuff back on it. I haven't run any bench marks yet, but I've been gaming. The first game I played was UT2004 at 1600 x 1200 (application pref). I didn't see any jaggies. The graphics, frame rate, and gameplay were all top notch. I was moving my mouse left and right really fast and it was SMOOTH!! I think my rig was ment to play this game. Unfortunatly I was born to play the Battlefield games. I didn't even bother putting BF1942 in yet, cause I know this PC would eat it for lunch. The game I wanted to see was Battlefield Vietnam (plus the BF1942 and POE mods for it).
I moved every setting to high (except card set to application pref) at 1600 x 1200. At times it was just amazing, but artifacting and random crashed ruined it. The good news is when I moved it just one notch down from 1600 x 1200, it ran perfect! Looked and played amazing!
That's all the gaming for me tonight, but I'll get more out of it tomorrow.

Ow man, you make me loose all my patience!!
I can't wait to pull my alien out of its shell and feed it with games just to see how good they will run!

How do you take a screen shot of the desk top (assuming that's what you meant my SS). Here's some PICS I took. They're very blurry due do bad lighting.

Nice pics. That score is extremely good. What are your specs again?

come on we know you have a camera =-)

how about some screenshot of the inside? or the back of the case?

pweaseeee

have you updated any drivers or anything on the system yet?

The shots I took of the inside were darker and worse off then the ones I posted. Sorry, but there's no way I'm unplugging everthing to do it again. Take my word that the inside is tidy and awesome! I tried that fraps, but it wouldn't take a screenshot no matter how many ways I tried. I found on the internet that hitting PrtScn and then pasting that into paintbrush worked, so thats what I did.

I have yet to install Norton Antivirus, cause I've had problems with antiviruses in the past. I also haven't checked videocard driver updated or installed SP2. You guys think I should?
AntiVirus I would def. get ASAP-
there are so many around there-it's amazing
as for the video card drivers try it and run 3dmark see if there is any change/problems if it's all ok keep it-

SP2 is up to you-alot of people have no problems with it-some do-
you can just un-install it if there is a problem so not a big deal--

hey let me ask you-how does AW's benchmark compare to yours--
and do they give you any other info on your pc?

I've always wondered exactly what the 200pt quality check is--like what programs they run/what they do to ensure it's all 100% ya know

thanks man any info is appreciated-

oh and nice scores you little !@#%!$#% =)

I lost that paper work somewhere and it appears gone forever. There was something on the screen when I started it, but it disappeard and who knows where it is. I just installed Norton Antivirus and my 3DMark03 went to 12890 (with auto detect disabled). I'm to lazy to run it again with it on. I think I'll install SP2 and let you guys know what happens. It ran great on my last machine.

PS. I just installed SP2 and ran the 3DMark03 with my virus protection on and got a score of 12815. No better, but not much of a hit to the system. Wow this PC rocks!!

Yep are scores should be the same, cause we got pretty much the same exact systems. Playing any games?
I wonder how much of a difference it would make on 3dmark if you had PCI express.
