Mayaman2: I applaud thee for not including the condemning "countdown thread" phrase into this one. Sigh. I miss the old Sager's answer to the Compal thread.

This is pretty funny, I remember asking why Sager doesn't have an ultraportable a while ago and look what happened! This looks like a pretty sweet little lappy, I bet it gets 5+ hours on battery

I think this is compareable to the alienware sentia 12.1. Just much cheaper.

Wtf. 9.5 lbs with battery. I think that must be a typo. It said 5.2 lbs in the specs which makes sense. -edit. Sweet they corrected it.

nah, the sentia is much bigger. whole different type of machine there

NO Firewire port?

That's what the pcmcia port is for. It so easy to get a firewire card adapter for a laptop.

lol clevo makes everything big. I am pretty sure that's a typo. It said 5.2 lbs in the specs. I think the dimensions for the 4750 were off as well.

Using a pcmcia firewire is much slower than a a firewire port.

I would think a firewire is more for intensive audio/visual work. This computer isn't built for that. Its an ultraportable so there are some sacrafices made. Sager is offering some sort of $100 off offer I think for preordering it. I wonder if pctorque will carry it?
THe $100 is if you were a previous sager owner

Sweet. So If i ever need a light laptop for classes (notes and playing roms) and minor photoshop work, this looks like a winner.

that is one shiny cover! better stop looking before it hypnotizes me. what model is it under clevo??
omg that kinda look nice... wonder how it's gonna perform for numerical calculation wise (it's got embedded graphic chipset so gaming is out definitely) =/
but nice laptop looks like nonetheless.

so how much ligher is this one comparing to 3790 with 12 cell battery? anyone know?

M361C. You may be able to play counter-strike zero on it. Probably day of defeat as well.

Could probably handle pure text adventures like, say, Zork I and Zork II. Zork III? I dunno. King's Quest would definitely lock it up, though.

But it could definetly handle word and internet browsing. Nice price point to for its category.

Cool, we were just talking about this one last week. Good to see it up on Sager's site now.

New Clevo M120C 12.1" WXGA 4lbs.
