I have seen this topic somewhere and have tired to search for it but came up with nothing. But i have a usb printer and hard drive and when ever i plug one of those devices in the usb port it says that that port is not capable of usb 2.0 and i should switch port. I have one port that will always work but all of the other ones i will get that error message and also it will ramdomly diskconnect my usb device. This is driving me insaine. Please help.

disconnect all usb devices. make sure u have the latest updates, at least SP 1. install the intel chipset drivers and restart.
after you restart, go into device manager and see if there is a yellow exclamation mark on the usb controller. if there is, uninstall it, and then scan for new hardware. when it prompts you to install new hardware, install hardware automatically and it should be fine after that.
