The 5680 and 8890 are supposed to be released with the 9600 PRO as of right now.
The 5680 and 8890 should be available late July/early August.
-They will probably offer upgrades to the new motherboard and video card for people with existing compatible systems such as the 5660, 5670, 8886, 8887... There's no guarantee when the upgrades will be available and if they will for sure. It will probably be within a couple weeks of the notebooks being released and begin shipping that the upgrades are offered. There is no price on that yet.
-They are not changing the batteries used and yes, these will pull more power. Note: Not a salesman, just factman.
-There is no word on when the 7200 rpm hard drives will be available and hit the shelves.
