These 2 mice are identical (Thermaltake is a rebranded BT500 - with better colors). They both can be purchased with or without the dongle. I bought the Thermaltake A2147 because I like the color of it and because it has an on/off switch. The mouse works great! Although, it is not a mouse for a large hand.

I dont think it is really answering what you posted originally but this is one of the best looking mouse and keyboard I have seen till now. With a notebook this logitech keyboard and mouse would be stunning.
Since I liked this thing so much I am posting here.
Check it out:

It is expensive and not available in India for now. If it comes in India, depending on the price, I would like to buy it.

Microsoft has a new BT keyboard/mouse combo coming out with a new design that's sort of between a regular keyboard and their natural keyboard. I plan on getting one of those when it comes out, as I prefer the Natural to a regular, but want BT so no wires .

I am using the Logitec MX900 bluetooth mouse and it works great with my i9100 with bluetooth builtin. I don't need to use the Logitec hub in order to use my house.. pretty handy. All the buttons are working on my mouse except the menu button.

for some reason mine won't work unless hub is connected. ideas?

Did you install the logitec software!? You shouldn't install anything.. Just use the dell bluetooth utility to discover the MX900 and then pair the device.

Yeah hit the grey connect button on the mouse then use the Dell BT utility to discover new human input device should work

Hey
For my bluetooth mouse (i love it) I use Microsoft Wireless Optical Elite Desktop for a bluetooth kb and mouse. However, I think u can buy the mouse seperate. Mouse is painted in a nice blue paint, and really really comfortable. Personally I find the MX series mouses kind of uncomfortable for me at least.

Another vote for the MX900...

Don't need the hub at all, you can also install the setpoint software without the hub to make use of the multiple buttons...

Great mouse, I just use the hub as a desktop charger...

I just bought a Bluetake BT500 for my 8600. Can't wait until it arrives. I got the blue and silver version to go with my 8600. Will post experiences when I recieve it. I have been using a very similar Wireless RF mouse in the meantime, so I am used to the size.

I got the BT500 off ebay Australia for AU$84, which was really cheap compared to the AU$199 for the MS Bluetooth mouse! Don't need a dongle. I already have both the builtin bluetooth in my 8600, and a DLink DBT-120 from my old laptop, so don't need to spend more on another one. Should arrive in a day or so.

I have the bluetake mouse and love it - but its not for everone - its very small. I like that as it is easy to pack but some people don't becuase they say it cramps their fingers to hold it.

Its a personal preference I guess - so far about 50% of the people I have let use it love it and 50% hate it. I'd say to go try it out first in person but I couldn't find any traditional store that had it and ended up just taking my chances not being certain if I would like it or not and ordered on the internet (newegg)
