Quick question on dual screens

Hi,

I was just wondering, is it possible to have 2 LCD screens running from your laptop? As in have 3 screens total? Would you have to use a splitter and some kind of special software, or would the standard windows programs take care of it?

You could have 3 screens running off of your laptop, but the two external LCDs would display the same thing. If your laptop video card doesn't support dual monitors, then all 3 lcds would display the same thing.

So while having one extra LCD makes sense, 2 doesn't unless you wanted them to show the same thing.

As far as I know there isn't any software available to allow extra screens. And if you were to just split the signal then you don't need any software.
