all right: here's how i updated my drivers to 70.41:
go to http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
and download the latest drivers. these are not officialy certified for the go1000, so you will have to edit the .inf file included in the install package. luckily, the author of the aforementioned website has already done the dirty work for you! download the modded .inf file.
open the modded .inf file and find the section labeled ";Mobile GPU's by LaptopVideo2go.com" you will have to add a line to the code under this section:
NVIDIA_NV36.DEV_034C.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX Go1000 "
now you should be good to go. replace the original .inf in the install directory with the modded copy you just made and install the drivers using the setup exe that nvidia provides. [note: the device manager will not recognize these drivers as compatible with your hardware].
all done! all of my video problems have vanished! but, i wouldn't recommend using unofficial drivers or driver mods unless it is absolutely necessary.
