how to put hibernation on desktop

hi i want to enable hibernation on my winxp pr0 desktop
its a 700mhz athlon 128mb

Go to Control Panel -> Power Options -> Hibernation tab. Select Enable Hibernation.

it is nabled but what do i press to actually use it?

hold down the shift key when you are at the shutdown screen. the option for standby will change to hibernate. or, you could just hit the h key.

do like noser said or for even faster results
just do start/turn off computer/ and then hit the "H" key
it will up you right into hibernation
