FS: Inspiron 8200

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 that I want to sell to finance my Aviator GX7. I am interested to see what price some of you think I should ask for?

P4-M 1.7 GHz
1.0 GB RAM
GeForce 4 440 64 MB video
DVD/CD-RW drive
CD drive (replaced floppy)
40 GB HDD

Those are the mechanical specs. I'd prefer to sell it without software, such as Office, but (of course) I'd give the guy a clean install of XP with SP2.

What do you all think?

$700 is about the tops you could get for it if it's in perfect condition. MAYBE. I'd be happy with $500 if I were you. That's what, a 2 year old model? You can get new laptops for $700 that would be faster. Is it UXGA, that will help if it is.

Thanks for the replies. I have a few interested people with offers from $500 to $800.

Wish me luck. The faster I sell the 8200, the sooner I can buy a 3790!

If you have good Ebay feedback, you should be able to get close to 900 for that configuration. Heck, i'd buy it for that if I had the money...

Does it have the UXGA screen?
