I've done a search and looked at most of the links. Should I stay away from backpacks for 15" notebooks? The 1280 is 12 inches wide and only an inch thick, I don't want it too sit too loosely in the pack.

I've looked at the following sites:

I'm a student and I'd like to carry at least my 3.5" ring binder and one book, I can carry the 2nd and/or 3rd books in my hand. I'm mostly concerned about having a pack that is way too bulky. I like the targus sport, but I'm worried that the notebook compartment will be too big for the 1280.
