My desktop specs = ? Laptop specs

Thread Starter
I am looking to find what my desktop specs would be in notebook form. The following are the specs for my (pathetic) desktop:

P4 1.5 Ghz
Geforce2 Ti 64mb Video Card (AGP 4x)
512mb PC133 SDRAM (non-DDR)

I'm wondering what this would be equivalent to in terms of both:
a) an ATI laptop video card
b) DDR ram instead of the PC133 I currently have
(and also maybe what AMD processor would be equivalent)

[Round up. If there is no equivalent, give me the slightly better equivalent]

I'll use this info to determine whether to simply upgrade my desktop, and get a laptop equivalent to its current condition, or keep my desktop but get a super duper laptop to replace the desktop. Thanks in advance.

A Mobility Radeon 7500 would perform on par, and anything with a Mobility Radeon 9000 or above will outperform your desktop. 512MB RAM is the bare minimum I'd get in any system.

An approximate figure of your budget would be very helpful too.

, no offense but, most of the laptops you can find around here are way better than that, whether it be Pentium 4, athlon 64, or even a Pentium M.
Happy Shopping!
Took me about 2-3 months to finally found my baby, and I'm never letting go. Until she gets old that is, then I'll have to give her up.
