Well, after reading this forum for countless hours, and about one hour beforehand, I finally ordered! I was so hesitant to drop the cash, but I've got a pretty decent job and I've wanted a lappy since about April. At first I was looking at the I1150's, and as time went on, I just wanted more and more! That's what always happens to me, I've had a $7,000 stereo setup in my (standard cab) F-150 before. Anyhow, here are the specs:
i9100
3.2 WUXGA
60GB 7200rpm
128mb MR9700
512mb pc3200 (going to order 2x512 corsair XMS before the i9100 arrives)
8x DVD-RW/R
1350 wireless
A960 printer, copier, scanner, standalone fax
(and thanks to many people here, esp. rogueone) 3yr limited mail in + 3yr CC
I got all this for 2462 including tax, shipping, the printer, yada yada. I was real hesitant but they came out with the 15% code again, so I said F*** it, I'm doing it. To many people's dismay, I blew 1/4th of my financial aid, but half is grants so essentially, half is free! j/k
Anyhow, I'm not much of a gamer, except for addicitnggames.com, so I hope this lappy is sufficient to run MS word and excel for school! That, and being my digital darkroom and video editor.
