Noone knows yet if it is on the WSXGA+ because noone has posted with a WSXGA+ screen yet.
Although 5/6 people with the WUXGA screen have reported this in draw's thread and the only person that didn't have it had a defective screen with stripes of light.
Foobishduck called sager and they said:
1. They don't plan "to fix" the problem.
2. If the screen breaks it's your fault and not covered under warranty (.... wth)
Drawmonster posted this:
"Here are some pics of my problem. Their not great, because I took them in really low light. The very white spot to the lower left is the cursor. They show what happends when you lightly touch the back of the LCD. It happens in the exact same spot, no matter where you touch the LCD back. The last pic shows the spot that's already permanently damaged. There's clearly something jabbing the LCD screen from behind. I would hate to see what the screen looked like after having this laptop in a case or something that would put pressure on the backplate for an extended amount of time. So this and the DVD drive are screwed. And after all the time I spent reviewing, comparing, and taking pics."
More pics can be seen in his thread.
