The Nic on my old Gtw failed the day after I sent my thrice-damned Toshiba junk in for my last bout of masochistic self flagellation with their tech support. So got the toshiba back and shipped the gtw off for warranty repair. they ship it back saying it's not broken. just to maximize the inconvenience, they wiped the drive while they had it.
I give up. I'll just sell evrything as is on ebay. Not my year for things tech.

Well gtw is way better to deal with than toshiba. they just agreed to send me the nic. have i mentioned that i really hate toshiba?

they wiped your drive clean?

I"m sorry man, but I feel your pain, if you check out my FACKED LAPTOP thread you'll see how insane I'm already going. making sure I can fix it with the tech support of more intelligent peers.

well Gtw loses the points they made. sent me a freekin 802.11 to replace the 10/100. mudda, grumble, ...

b, pretty common for tech support to wipe the drive. always back up when sending in for service.
